Summer Market Season Approaching in the North Country

Throughout the North Country summer weekends are filled with community Sales and Markets. Many are organized by local organizations to raise funds for programs, operating costs and maintenance of our community histories. Join in this longstanding tradition and become a part of that history that we all know and love.
We have put together a partial list of area Markets and Sales that happen each year and links to the groups that host them. Enjoy a great meal, find local crafts and products, or score that perfect antique. Please use this as a guide to plan daytrip with your family, head out and support a neighboring town, or reach out and donate directly.

The 54th Lancaster Historical Society Flea Market

A well known favorite is the Flea Market held on the grounds of the Holton-Wilder House in Lancaster. For more than 50 years…54 to be precise, the @LancasterHistoricalSociety has organized and managed this local favorite that runs every other Sunday. The proceeds from table rentals and the snack bar at the market helps the Society raise much needed funds for the maintenance of this historic location. Deemed the first two story building in Coos Country, the House itself still holds an intriguing collection of artifacts from around the area that have withstood the test of time. Unfortunately the building itself is in desperate need of extensive restoration. The Society is in need of help to raise funds and awareness, and vendor spaces help that mission.

Flea Market schedule for 2022 is as follows: May 29; June 12, 26; July 10, 24; Aug. 7, 21; Sept. 4,18; and Oct. 2

Vendor Spaces cost $20 per 20’x20′. All spaces are first come first serve for location choice and payments are taken the day of.
