Great Days and Giveaways!
The summer of 2022 was full of fantastic food, fun and games across the North Country. Great days full of sunshine helped us get out there and enjoy all sorts of great community events around the region. We joined forces with Farmers Markets and businesses around the region to deliver a summer full of prizes. In just the last 3 months we awarded 64 prizes in our Facebook Giveaways, totaling a whopping $2,675 worth of gift certificates, to LOCALLY-OWNED businesses! Farmers Market Giveaway Bonanza
This summer we created a special support campaign for the Lancaster, Gorham, and Littleton Farmers Markets. Over the summer we awarded over $500 in Market Tokens and Vouchers to encourage shopping at these wonderful local resources. We enjoyed going to the markets and meeting vendors and shoppers throughout the summer, and look forward to expanding to even more LIVE event interactions in the future.
The Recipe Roundup
Our team worked hard to put together a new challenge for all our fans out there. The NCL Recipe Roundup is a mobile based scavenger hunt where you can participate at local Farmers Markets and Stands by finding ingredients and uploading pics to gain points and ultimately win great new recipes!
This challenge was a lot of fun to put together, and most of all was a great way to support all our local growers. You can still join the fun on the website through the end of the Market season.
We also teamed up with the NHEatsLocal initiative to further support local food accessibility.
North Country Local Gives Back
Beyond all the fun and games, North Country Local is also about building strength in our communities. Each week you can find info about local events, charitable works and family activities on our social media pages and Blogs. With the help of the fantastic team at Phlume MEDIA we have updated and expanded our website. Take a look around at all of the local resources, links and contact info we have gathered! Next up is a fully re-designed Business Directory that will be available for everyone. We want to bring our neighbors together and provide a locally-focused and reliable site for all things North Country.
