PoemTown St. Johnsbury

St. Johnsbury, VT is celebrating National Poetry Month with PoemTown St. Johnsbury for the seventh year! This collaborative project is put together by Catamount Arts, St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, and St. Johnsbury Chamber of Commerce, and affiliated with PoemCity in Montpelier. Throughout the month of April, read the over 100 submitted poems by poets of all ages posted on business windows on Railroad Street, Eastern Avenue, and Main Street. A list of poets, poems, and where they are located can be found here.

In addition, write your own haiku to be posted downtown as part of Catamount Arts’ StJ Art on the Street project! Pick up the yellow “haiku circles” at Cosmic Cup Café, Boxcar & Caboose, or Moose River Lake & Lodge. Print legibly in black ink on a circle and return it at Catamount Arts.
