This year’s Holiday Hunt is now over. We invite you to still poke around and look at all of the selfies submitted on our Entries Page.
Join us agian next year as we roll out even MORE FUN starting with a “tasty” event happening this spring. We’re sure our fans will “eat it up” and enjoy some “delicious” goodies put to gether by us … AND YOU! Stay tuned for mor einfo to come in the first of the year, 2022.
How do I play?
It’s easy to get involved in the hunt. We have a full list of participating businesses available here. Each one of these local businesses will have a participation decal on their front door or window. Inside of the business they have hidden one of our official Holiday Hunt Tree Posters. All you have to do is find the poster, snap a selfie with it, and upload it to our submission page. To make it easier for you, each of the posters has a QR code on it that will bring you directly to the submission page. Simply select the location you are at and upload the photo. That’s it!

- Snap a selfie in front of the poster
- Upload the picture to our official website
Once the image has been submitted it will go into a review queue to verify a few simple rules were followed. Once we confirm it as a valid entry, we will release it to the site and you are officially entered for that location. With over 40 locations for you to submit a selfie from, there are plenty of opportunities for you to win!
What’s the Prize?
We will host a live drawing on our Facebook page on Monday, December 20th around noon. We will select 10 lucky winners during that event and each one will walk away with a prize basket that is shaping up to be around $250-$300 in value…and the prizes are still being collected so that value will certainly grow! They are coming in almost DAILY from all of our fantastic supporting businesses. Although not every basket will be the same, here is a short list of some of the items you might find within the baskets… without spoiling all of the surprises:

Progress Portal
One of the coolest layers to the whole Holiday Hunt is the custom interactive user portal we have developed in house. This game-driven interface will encourage you to participate, reward you for your efforts, and make the entire experience way more fun. If you don’t log into our site, you will miss out on a lot of these cool features! Signing up is free, and not only will it help you track your progress with the Holiday Hunt, the interactive portal will make participation a lot more fun!
All in, this is one of the most EXPANSIVE contests we have done to date. With tons of layers, prizes, rewards and activities, we know that the North Country Local Holiday Hunt is going to be a family tradition you look forward to participating in each year. Happy Hunting!

Are you interested in becoming a Holiday Hunt Participating Business? For only $100 your business will be listed as a location where Holiday Hunter’s will frequent to take their selfies. This is your chance to gain foot traffic during the holiday season and have new patrons joining you in your shop as they look around for the secret Tree to take their selfie next to!

You will be given a window decal and a special Holiday Hunt poster for your business and participants will come to your location to take selfies while on the hunt. Your business name will be listed on our site and printed on our official hunt card distributed regionally.
